I just found out that Ken Van Holde died in November last year (2019). He was an important mentor to me and many others. I really like the tweets and comments by Karolin and her citing Ken's beautiful poem.

I own his eponymous book 'Chromatin'. My copy was owned by the late Jon Widom, still with his tabs and annotations. Now they are both gone.
