Maybe I’m getting crotchety as I get older but how these terms pop up and then everyone starts using them kind of bothers me. Idk just seems like middle school name calling.

Well the Incels call themselves that. It's a way of that celibacy has been unfairly thrust upon them so they don't have to admit that they just aren't good with women. It makes it everyone else's fault, not theirs.

I never see it used in that context. It’s always third party name calling. Thanks for the info. I think I’m just crabby today and it bothered me more than it should.

This thing in Toronto was the very first time I had heard the term as well. Had no clue there was a "community" per say of people with these beliefs/problems, or whatever it is.

The guy in Santa Barbara a few years ago was one of them. He had a whole Manifesto written railing against the "women who denied me sex".
