There is one main argument against paedobaptism (infant baptism). And that is this: You don't have to do it. Nothing in Scripture mandates it, and there's not one example of it. Everyone must repent and be baptized. No one must baptize their children who have yet to repent.
Circumcision is circumcision, and baptism is baptism. Gal. 3:27 says the baptized person has put on Christ. Has an infant put on Christ? Even if circumcision and baptism were the same, Paul says in Rom 2:29 true circumcision is of the heart. Is an infant circumcised of the heart?
