Great study of low-level attentional bias! Agents tend to move sideways rather than fly up in the air in an infant's visual world. Another example of low-level specificity (if confirmed...)
Note however that the study itself is about a completely different thing (see linked paper in first post): horizontal hand-waving as ostensive signal. I just found the preference for the point-light version of HHW open to a completely different interpretation.
