    When you find a single mum struggling to bring dinner home for the kids, you have to lend a helping hand! This beautiful spider wasp (i think Cryptocheilus sp.) Was struggling to drag her huntsman prey up our back fence. 1/2

    This is the first loan sent out as a collection manager at . This huge loan of large cerambycids are on their way to ANIC. A massive shoutout to Moon, our amazing technician who cataloged and packed this monster loan.

    An Amazing surprise from last week! Her lab has a tradition to bake a cake of your study animal when you submit your thesis. This is Gasteruption youngi, the first species I ever described with . A tasty wasp and a fantastic job for a 40 degree day!

    Last week I finally SUBMITTED MY THESIS! It has been an amazing four years working on a wicked group of wasps with so many amazing collaborators. As a treat here is the beautiful Australian Gasteruption cornutum Pasteels.

    A little Hylaeus (Prosopisteron) bee checking out some potential new digs. When mentioned Hawaiian Hylaeus like to make nests under rocks, I was curious. Looks like see free real estate and never take a shale for granite 😁🙈

    Successful Bee ID Workshop at yesterday! 40 participants from around Australia, learning to use keys to ID Oz bees. Much fun had by all. Big thanks for help teaching. Great to have Laurence Packer joins us too. More bee ID workshops to come!
