  18. But the government's argument (and court's position) was that it's not a "transgender ban" because it doesn't ban people who might identify themselves as transgender... but don't experience gender dysphoria, don't transition medically, don't transition socially. Cool cool cool.

  20. Anyway, here's the definition of gender dysphoria. It's very vague, and that's probably intentionally so. To get insurance to cover anything, you need a diagnosis code, which is why it's still medicalized at all.
