well capitalism is class domination, so if you want to abolish that sort of thing it kind of follows
-
-
-
Not explicitly, capitalism allows upward and downward mobility and would do so much more intensely in a less regulated more intense form. Classes were just an emergent phenomenon, fine if you want to abolish them but it will require some ...'archy' to achieve that so how is it...
-
anarchism
-
the state also allows upward & downward mobility (ppl can become & stop being cops for example) how all domination is to be abolished, whether there is a consistent fashion for a political movement to do this, well... do anarchists look like ppl who have their shit together?
-
No one is going to abolish *all* domination, practically a metaphysical impossibility
-
probably, especially if you frame it as *no one* (but careful with metaphysics)
-
*trapped in an infinite web, a spider with the head of Alexius Meinong approaches me* Schwund help! 'I warned you about metaphysics, I warned you.'

Depends on how you're using the term "capitalist", but in the case of so-called "communist" anarchisms: It's basically just Leninism, except instead of a vanguard you have a council and every single decision has to be tediously poured over with direct democracy
-
That sounds like the worst ideology ever, and hardly anarchist in any sense lol
-
It is slave morality taken to the absolute extreme, honestly
-
of course not every ancom is like this; the cringey thing about Gillis is he takes these words referring to dense, interpenetrating theoretical legacies and things nobody has ever attempted as having absolutely fixed meanings
-
but he's not wrong for taking this much more seriously as a failure mode than most of the people who mock him (and I'm not even an anarchist)

Gills is one of my least favorite accounts. He's one of the absolute worst anarchists and that's seriously saying something.
-

also this, should never be looked towards as an example of anarchism -
Gillis is the apotheosis of a certain kind of anarchism I think
-
that is essentially my thesis on him (more to come in future poasts)
