Does established medical understanding recognise the relationship of faith to health that you're suggesting? I think it's closer to what I'm saying
I agree humans need a religious outlet but keep it separate from govt science etc. I'm sure when you pick a doctor you judge on medical competence alone not religion

That's what most people believe.

Most people believe in the separation of religion and science? You almost persuadeth me to be a demotist
-
Most people believe that their judgements are rooted in knowledge, fact, and rational thought. Most formal theologies also share that set of beliefs. We apply our tools to explain why our beliefs are true (and why we picked the best doctor).

We have no way out of our constructed worldviews, sounds a bit like postmodern nihilism (and that's fine)

The only way out is through.
