Interesting that Paris was such a powerful trigger for you. By that point I was like 'meh' nothing gonna happen with 100 dead, needs to be circa 100,000 to shock us out of our somnambulant progressive torpor. Even that was probably wildly optimistic tbh.

Good point, it was in the context of the migrant crisis deteriorating though and was a fairly vicious attack, I think a lot of people reacted around about that point but not enough for genuine upheaval in Europe as it turned out

Yeah, I guess your reaction primarily depends where you sit on your personal journey of endarkenment. Right now I'm not sure a nuclear attack on a major city would be anything more than grist for the progressive reforms mill.
