Nothing much, it's absurd for a neoreactionary sect to adopt a democratic politician as a figurehead in the first place, nicerx doing so was one of its jokes. I'm not upset by JRM distancing himself from that Powell speech though, Powell didn't really foresee...........

what the real problems would be, he doesn't even mention Islam, the speech seems more like nativism that sees immigration as just being implicitly bad. If he'd been more cautious he might have achieved more, like stopping us joining the common market, something which is......

only now just being reversed, and in which JRM could just possibly play a crucial role if he replaces May as PM. I don't see why the right should venerate tragically high-principled people like Powell who really accomplished very little.
