Who is that lonesome stranger, keeping night watch on the borderlands of the American frontier, the very symbol of the Anglo spirit's unquenchable thirst for exploration?
Why that's *coyote howl* *looks to camera and tips cowboy hat*...

YES. And thank you for introducing me to his art!

One thing that strikes me about his art is that the clouds remind me of pictures I've seen of mushroom clouds, and the first atom bomb test was in New Mexico, which I've traveled through many times. And Nick's writing about WMD deterrence naturally came to mind from there.

One of my favorite pieces of music is 'Apple Blossom' by Peter Garland, a composer from New Mexico. I remember playing it for my dad, and he said it made him think of petals falling from trees and buddhist prayer bowls...

...but when I hear it I picture the first mushroom cloud blossoming in slow motion over the NM desert as people watch on in awe. Anyway, this is one of the things we listen to on night watch here:https://youtu.be/t7fGpVlXGeQ
