when is it r/acc and when is it l/acc? if a stance/policy is considered both, would it be considered u/acc? who decides these things, anyway?
But I think the idea is that if acceleration leads to increasing chaos it will come off the rails into complete breakdown, yes what you're saying is consistent with r/acc, using tech to create new stable political structures.......

we just need enough acceleration no one thinks of it as "going off the rails"
-
Kind of where u/acc comes in, acceleration isn't a process that can be controlled so you can't really have 'just the right amount' of it
-
the right amount is more of it
-
Wait you said 'no one thinks of it as going off the rails' that is a view that has featured in the debate though, sometimes referred to as z/acc, r/acc is willing to accept harsh social consequences, u/acc the extinction or at least remolding of the human species
-
so much acceleration humanity's cognition changes
-
Yes well hope I helped answer your question.

The contrast is with U/ACC which had an easygoing glee about how acceleration would proceed and l/acc which was too tied to traditional leftist conceptions
