I've always thought that it was telling that juries are made up of everyone who couldn't figure out how to get out of being on a jury. Low earners find ways to wiggle out of jury service because it's boring, tedious, and usually a waste of time.

If I was called I'd want to do it though I think, it would be a life experience, I guess most trials are boring and unlike tv murder trials etc but even so

Believe me, after you've been called a few times – you're not really so keen on the process. It doesn't help that they actively seem to members for juries who aren't excited about the opportunity. Jury selection is the worst part.
