I am so grateful to the Parole Board. I'm also grateful to everyone who has supported my father during his more than 4 decades behind bars.

I’m thinking about the other children affected by my father's crime and want to make sure that nothing I do or say further upsets the victims’ families. Their loved ones will never be forgotten.

I have mixed emotions. Sorry, but should he see the light of day?

Why shouldn't he? He didn't kill anyone, and even if he did, 40 years is more than enough time to be allowed to begin to reintegrate back into society.

Ok. Do you feel the same way about the 2 men in the Ahmad Arbery case who weren’t actually the shooters? David Gilbert got a hefty sentence because he wasn’t remorseful and wouldn’t take a plea deal. His partner, Kathy Boudin, took a plea and served half of what he did.

Yes. If they after a good portion of their sentence are found to be safe to be released on parole, then release them on parole.
