Can Pink News and GLAAD get any more regressive? This clearly shows how genderism is based on sexist stereotypes. In the 'Incredible new children’s book' Susan knows Jackie is really Jack because Jackie likes to play in the mud!https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/10/10/new-childrens-book-transgender-boy/ …

2018 and there is a powerful ideology pushing onto children, the book is aimed from 4years up, that if you don't want to play fairies you are really a boy and need surgery and hormone treatment.

The book also exhibits how capitalist and superficial genderism is. Despite its claims around 'inner you', 'authentic self' and 'lady brain' this book once again has the magical haircut and life determined on clothing choice. 'Jackie also doesn’t like dresses or her long hair'.

Its just children's fiction Dr. Em, I hear you exclaim. No. This is happening in real life. Exhibit one, Jorge becomes Arianna, it all came clear with a haircut: 'She just didn’t want to have her hair cut short like a boy'.https://stories.swns.com/news/meet-the-boy-who-came-out-as-a-girl-and-inspired-his-mums-girlfriend-to-become-a-man-101911/ …

Another one, Mrs Bliss: 'Toward the end of first grade, she and her father began fighting over haircuts. She wanted a buzz cut, the same one her friends had. My husband wanted to keep her hair longish, in a bowl, the last visible sign of her X chromosome'. https://www.parents.com/parenting/my-transgender-child-this-is-how-i-know/ …

Here one Isabel Rose explains how her child embarked on a path to be medicated and mutilated because he didn't like his parents fashion choice, 'Actually, our child knew there was an incongruity between the way he felt, and the way he was being dressed, long before he knew...

Magical haircuts override sex. 2015 Guardian article: 'on the left is Melanie in a white dress, with a cascade of blond ringlets; and on the right is Tom, still the same bright blue eyes, but with a boy’s short hair'. Whatever happened to the pixie cut?

Only boys can have short hair? Mum says ' “That was the final thing. If I let him get his hair cut short, that was me accepting he is a boy.” The hairdresser was bemused. “I was crying and I had this little boy with me who had hair down to his arse'.https://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/sep/12/transgender-children-have-to-respect-who-he-is …
