Just left a screening of โBeau Is Afraid.โ Before credits started rolling 1 guy in audience stood up and yelled โI better not hear a single person f***ing clap.โ Another dude screamed โthatโs the worst movie Iโve ever seen.โ A girl yelled โtotal piece of shitโ

When Lucky first came to live with us he wasn't really interested in playing and didn't show any real hunting drive.
A year later he's just done his first proper bum-wiggle pounce and chased a bobble so fast he skidded across the floor. We love to see it.

Iโm sure there will be plenty of talented writers and critics absolutely vivisecting Beau Is Afraid, but the fact itโs getting panned by dudes that have rarely ever liked movies for adults is putting a giant, excited smile on my face.

Beyond The Drowned Spire is a fully-submerged adventure for fantasy dungeon games, a collapsed wizard's tower at the bottom of the lake and the weird caverns beneath it. ILY creepy cults, imprisoned demons, and sad ghosts, you should check it out: loottheroom.itch.io/beyond-the-dro #dnd

What's an image from a horror movie that has haunted you/stuck with you?
I know for a lot of people it was the girl in the closet reveal from The Ring. Such a great shock.

Every now and then I sit down with a #ttrpg book and read it from cover to cover live on the internet. Here's a link to the time I did it for Mausritter:

The current obsession preventing me from getting any work done until I've solved this problem: trying to figure out how long it takes to descend 300 feet on a spiral staircase, and how long it takes to climb back up.

You know when you're scrolling twitter or instagram or basically any site these days and the feed refreshes of its own volition and the thing you were reading just vanishes?
I just watched it happen on a Google search results page.

A few days ago twitter was doing "what's your favourite 3 album run from a band" and now I want to know your favourite 3 song run from a single album.
My pick is the end of Crisis. (And actually add the title track to that for a perfect 4 song run.)

My controversial Crisis opinion is that You Burn First is good, actually, and introduces a change of pace and tone to the album that elevates the entire thing. Plus Wade's voice is just incredible and he isn't used enough.

Watch Out! turns 20 next year and I think that might be the point when my midlife crisis actually starts.
Although it'd be more fitting for me to wait until 2026 when Crisis hits 20 and I hit 40 I guess
