It has a right to its own body. One which cannot be violated by poison, forceps, vacuum, or other barbaric method of murder. One which it was given by an act the mother consented in.
I don't think pregnancy has a significant chance of ending in death. Otherwise, the human race would have ended before it could have started. Sex makes children. We learn this in elementary school. Not wanting an action to cause an outcome doesn't change the outcome.

Then you're ignorant to the reality of pregnancy, and its inherent risk to the woman. This is not surprising.
-
A reality you...struggle to provide evidence for, despite how obvious this "reality" allegedly is based on your own statements?

You should have put the full stop after "think". The rest of your tweet is superfluous.
-
Aren't ad hominems so nice? You don't even have to make any actual arguments! You can just insult someone, and everyone who already agrees with you will shower you with praise. You'll never have to expose your fragile worldview to dangerous opposing opinions.

"I don't think". Just stop right there. Perfect.

Do you have anything to add, or are you just a troll who has no intent of actually making an argument?

So, your idea of”significant” is what? 50% mortality rate? Higher? Childbirth is at LEAST ten times more dangerous to a woman than abortion. THAT is significant...
-
And abortion is 100% more dangerous to the unborn child it kills. When discussing drastic measures like making killing legal in certain situations, we need to make sure the measure is justified.

Humans used to die during pregnancy before modern medicine. My great grandmother died in her 9th month.
My grandmother had preeclampsia & it almost killed her & my mom
My mother was minutes from dying but the doc discovered she had an ectopic pregnancy. -
That was then. This is now. Modern medicine is advancing technology, and making pregnancy much safer.
