My first job paid me $8 an hour in 1993. Took me a few years before I was paid $10. I remember working extra hours just so I could pay my rent and buy some food. That was in 1993.

Those are very telling figures! I knew there were many adults working for minimum wage, but that's surprising! I never bothered to look it up, because I honestly don't care what age those making minumum wage happen to be, living in this country is expensive-pay all people!

Great list of facts. Also - what if the majority of minimum wage workers WERE teens? They should STILL be paid $15. Most teens I know are saving for college.
