Dear @Chase @BankofAmerica @WellsFargo Why don’t you do the country a solid and extend no-fee bridge loans to federal workers who aren’t being paid. Make the Government pay it back, but give these poor folks something to pay rent, buy food and gas with. Just a suggestion.

Great idea. Especially since the banks were bailed out by the govt only 10 yrs ago

Thank you for thinking outside the box. The state of California has done this in the past in conjunction with credit unions. The state reimbursed the credit unions when the budget was passed. Workers were able to get the exact amount of their checks.

If there is a will, there is a way. If they don’t, then their respective clients ought to think long and hard whether they want to patronize these banks, when mortgages come up for renewal.

Before retirement I was a career firefighter for Cal Fire. Both Bank of America and Wells Fargo extended that courtesy to state workers several times during budget impasses that occurred over the course of my career.

That state worked a deal with banks, issued employees IOUs in lieu of checks and banks honered them as if they were cash, but banks had to wait for reimbursement from the state until after a budget was hammered out.

So, the anti-corporate party wants corporate banks to altruistically subsidize the federal government because that same party refuses to reallocate a fraction of a percent of their budget out of petty childishness.

Didn't these banks get some help sometime in the past? I can't seem to recalll. Wasn't it our tax dollars that helped?

Dear Pam Keith, @Chase @BankofAmerica and @WellsFargo unfortunately are too busy raising fees, bankrupting, and defrauding the American's worker, including the Federal workers, to care! I'm sure they'll get a nice laugh from your request! Just so you know!
