Sad to see this happen to , they were one of the few US drone companies trying to push the limits on hardware. Anyone there who is interested in working on autonomous drones for defense applications, hit me up!

Jack Poulson "said he was concerned not just about the censorship itself, but also the ramifications of hosting customer data on the Chinese mainland, where it would be accessible to Chinese security agencies that are well-known for targeting political activists and journalists."

For those of us who grew up in the shadow of 9/11, including members of our team who signed up to serve as a result, national security can’t be taken for granted. We all have a part to play in helping America confront the threats of the next generation.

Wanna see the guts of Magic Leap? Check out the teardown, I got to help them rip up my ML1. Highlight for me: Magnetic tracking system that is basically Polhemus/Sixense STEM style tech in reverse, with the transmitter in the (weighted) controller

Great application for VR, and a great example of why growth will continue. The systems that exist today are the worst that will ever exist, and they are still immensely useful.

Magic Leap appears to have just changed their order number assignment system in a way that makes figuring out their sales numbers harder, even if you collect a bunch of data points from different buyers. Will cover in my review this weekend.
