Hi Keem - Confirming this isn't true. There may be other reasons why these videos get flagged. Our Ad-friendly Guidelines state that incendiary & demeaning content isn't allowed. So if videos appear like it's ridiculing another creator, it might get picked up as not safe for ads.

It’s nice to know that to youtubers, your slogan “broadcast yourself” has become “Broadcast yourself exactly how we tell you on our authoritarian platform, where honest criticism or opposing opinions are punishable by making sure you can’t pay rent.”

Do you really want just vanilla, child-friendly, non-confrontational, no-opinion content (i.e. what’s already on big-network, big-$ commercial TV) ALONE having the ability to be monetized? Isn’t that contrary to the very spirit of the world-wide-web? (1/2)

Wrong. Youtube has a virtual monopoly on video hosting. They can set whatever policies they want and advertisers must simply accept it. The censorship is happening because Susan WANTS it, not because of outside forces.
