Pakistan has abstained on the draft resolution contained in document A/ES-11/L.7.
While my delegation agrees with & endorses the principles & general provisions, there are provisions which are not consistent with Pakistan’s principled position : Ambassador Munir Akram

Pakistan fully supports the resolution’s (A/ES-11/L.7) call for respect for the principle of the sovereignty, sovereign equality & territorial integrity..however Regrets that these principles have not been universally applied for instance in the situation of Jammu & Kashmir.2/4
