    When I become a boss and responsible for managing other artists i think i'm gonna have a BIG box of artsy books and french comics and any whenever one of my artists is burned out they would be able to stick their hand in the box and take a book at random to keep.

    The visdev art from this movie is really what keeps motivating me to get better at painting.

    Paul Felix's conceptual work for THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE (2000). Originally, the film was called KINGDOM OF THE SUN & went through a dramatic overhaul in development. (If you've seen the documentary THE SWEATBOX, you know just how difficult the production was.)

    I’ve been on a mission to de-digitize my process. Meaning working with less layers, and doing rough designs on paper before even considering the cintiq. It’s been really challenging but honestly I think it’s the right thing to do. Getting way more interesting and fun designs.
