I'll not saying any of us "know" if we will be saved or not but we can have an idea as to whether or not our actions contradict our faith. What do you think of the 10 commandments?
If you believe Jesus is Lord and was raised on the third day and speak it aloud you will be saved. Everyone knows what they do believe and don’t believe. If salvation was based on the 10 commandments then neither Peter nor Paul would be saved. What do you think of Romans 10?

You don't understand that I'm not saying it's one or the other. It's both. You need faith to act by God's law but you can violate God's law by not sufficiently meeting God's lofty expectations of us. Verbally saying "Jesus!" won't absolve you of wrongdoing

By gods standard. No need to get all Talmudic or legalistic asking definitions. Everybody knows what “belief” means. Just read the Bible man, it’s so simple a child can understand what it says. You haven’t referenced or disputed any scripture thus far.

Because so many people realized that the Catholic Church wasn’t preaching from it so they left and started their own churches.
