Life in America WAS white people with a moral code, a standard of behavior, and a place where white people were unapologetically white. We held each other accountable, and slept with our doors unlocked.

We could sneak out of our bedrooms as teenagers at 2am and walk down the street safely. We didn't have a Walmart Super Hellhole, we had the neighborhood grocer who knew you, your Momma, and that your Great Aunt Tilly had arthritis. Hospitals had doctors and nurses like us.

Not a bunch of foreign doctors whose English is hard to understand. This crazy, lonely, dangerous America is not even close to the America we lost. We thought Drumpf would be our savior and close the border. We thought he'd deport them.

We thought a lot of things that turned out to be lies. Don't put your faith in politicians, white people. They're complicit in the destruction of all that we hold dear.
