Today we stand in solemn remembrance of the illegal overthrow and occupation of our sovereign and free Hawaiian nation. But we stand with hope. We live in a time of a reawakened Lāhui that is politically mobilized to protect what we hold dear. Maunakea is just the beginning.

    2) Keahe Silva of KS-Kapālama shared that her limited data shows that He’eia has a lot more zooplankton coming into it than Waikalua Loko in Kāne’ohe. She only gathered data once so she recognizes the need to replicate her sampling over different seasons and tides.
