That sums up US foreign policy pretty well. If the target country has something corporate America can make a boatload of money from, starting a war is justified in their books with the obedient MM providing the required demonization of the target to get the population onboard.

This is not remotely a revelation - what’s unusual is American foreign policy being so bluntly put. America, who like to be thought of as the peacekeepers, have always leapt into that role whenever there are natural resources to reap.
