Don’t care how many people deny it but our phones are definitely listening for targeted ads & it’s driving me mad. Things I’ve talked about but never googled keep popping up on FB & Instagram, even after I turn off Microphone access

1) Can’t listen to it 2) First part of my tweet said don’t care how much it’s denied because it’s definitely happening. My work computer is no way connected to my FB & Insta + I didn’t even type any of the stuff in browsers that could catch my cookies
if you listen to it you'll understand it's not a denial, they did the research and found the most likely explanation. TL;DR Google and Facebooks' algorithms are so deeply embedded in your social circles it can predict what you'll think about before you think it.
