I feel like the cop stuff actually helps Biden deflect some of Trump’s dumber “law and order” attacks.

I think she's only seen as a copy by the left, who are already shaky supporting Biden but would maybe be appeased by Warren. Trying to get that moderate vote but not alienate the progressives. Dems love to try and appeal to everyone while exciting no one.
