Yeah, i've heard rumblings. But I'll believe it when i see it. Fantastic that Twitter has announced it because it puts pressure on others, hopefully it gains traction.

profit margins slimming, the price of corporate real estate in the bay area, the ease at which most jobs can be done remotely in tech... it's a no brainer.

the only hurdle i see is these companies taking a bath on multi-year commercial real estate that they built/leased to house hundreds of employees in desirable parts of town. So many digital companies in Venice/SantaMonica/WestHollywood/DTLA just pissing money away

@rickyftw We’re in the valley, when summer hits and we’re working from home still, should our employers help with the AC bill? As a freelancer you get to write off home office including electric bill (a percent only). What do you think? I’m not looking forward to this

that's up to your employer, but you can thank Trump/McConnell/Ryan to thank for the fact that you can't write off ANYTHING on your federal taxes anymore.
