Yeah, i've heard rumblings. But I'll believe it when i see it. Fantastic that Twitter has announced it because it puts pressure on others, hopefully it gains traction.

profit margins slimming, the price of corporate real estate in the bay area, the ease at which most jobs can be done remotely in tech... it's a no brainer.

the only hurdle i see is these companies taking a bath on multi-year commercial real estate that they built/leased to house hundreds of employees in desirable parts of town. So many digital companies in Venice/SantaMonica/WestHollywood/DTLA just pissing money away

yeah but if you're talking about the bottom line it's often cheaper for them to break lease/contract rather than finish the term. Also heard that's already happening in the Bay Area
