Yeah, i've heard rumblings. But I'll believe it when i see it. Fantastic that Twitter has announced it because it puts pressure on others, hopefully it gains traction.
profit margins slimming, the price of corporate real estate in the bay area, the ease at which most jobs can be done remotely in tech... it's a no brainer.

the only hurdle i see is these companies taking a bath on multi-year commercial real estate that they built/leased to house hundreds of employees in desirable parts of town. So many digital companies in Venice/SantaMonica/WestHollywood/DTLA just pissing money away

Not just companies taking a bath on commercial real estate, but the real estate, construction, suppliers, cleaning comp, waste management, & all office supply mfgs... many others. It’s not so black/white. I work in commercial construction, it’s going to devastate our industry
