And honestly, I don't care about Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes. Rotten Tomatoes has Rise of Skywalker below AOTC, which I refuse to believe, and Metacritic has TLJ rated higher than Empire Strikes Back, which is completely false.

To a degree, true. It appears to definitely have problems, especially in the areas regarding TLJ plot points and in fan service. However, I feel like I'm still seeing a fair amount of divisiveness, overall.
the only positive takes I've seen seem to be very broad, where as the negative takes are very specific about problems with dialogue, character consistency, structure, plot points, etc. I'm kinda glad, this way i can walk in ready to hate watch another JJ fluff piece
