    The fact ma granddads work is still chugging up and down the clyde gives me the warm fuzzies.

    The funnels were returned in June but it took an additional couple of months of extensive work before she was able to be taken back into service.

    Marvellous to see a fellow Scottish steamer intending to share a part of Waverley's colouring

    In other news -The Maid will return to the Loch in her original colour scheme whenever the current round of major work is completed. There will be 2 differences, first she will retain her gold jubilee band and second the white will be softened to ‘gardenia,’ now worn by Waverley.
