Heads up, Creators: On Dec 13-14 you may see a noticeable decrease in your sub count as we remove spam subscriptions. If spam is removed, you'll see a YouTube Studio alert: https://goo.gl/qGDBvX This should help give you confidence that the subs you do have are real fans!
Oh yes, my whopping 226 subscribers had 60 spam subs???? Sure....???? What is your method for this??? I’ve been busting my tail to build a channel and now I lose subs because YouTube chooses it? Thanks!

We use technology to identify spam accounts and we don't remove legit subscribers from the sub count. For example, if you're subscribed to a channel and you haven't watched in a while, you'll still be subscribed. This update only removes spam accounts. Hope this helps.

I’ll be honest, did not expect a response, so thank you for that! I guess it’s not that bad, I only lost 60 in the process. Just seems a lot when my channel is so small. But hopefully the ones left are the ones engaged.
