Gas and coal input for electricity generation add up to 21.9, yet energy rejected in generation (and transmission?) is 24.2. What is that part of the diagram trying to show?
Think about this. @Livermore_Lab’s newest #sankeydiagram shows that l year, 67.5 quads of energy was rejected—1 quad less than in 2018 (which is about the same amount of #solar energy consumed in 2019).
