Despite extraordinary dangers and risks, we were able to evacuate more than 100,000 people in just a matter of days. We can — and we must — complete our mission. We will not be deterred by terrorists. We will not let them stop our mission. We will continue the evacuation.

The American service members who gave their lives were heroes. Heroes who have been engaged in a dangerous, selfless mission to save the lives of others. We have a continuing obligation — a sacred obligation — to their families that will last forever.

After a rigorous process, the FDA reaffirmed its findings that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective — and gave its full and final approval this week. So please, get vaccinated today and let’s put an end to this pandemic.

Today, the House took a significant step toward making historic investments that will transform America and cut taxes for working families. There is more to do, but we’re on our way to investing in the American people and building an America that out-competes the world.
