The U.S. does not regulate or negotiate prices of prescription drugs.
In fact, the U.S. is the only advanced country that allows drugmakers to set their own prices.

There are thousands of health insurance plans in the U.S., & each has to negotiate its own prices with drugmakers separately.
The U.S. must set up an agency that regulates & negotiates drug prices (on behalf of its 332 million residents) to lower drug prices.
