We can’t be silent in the face of rising violence against Asian Americans. That’s why today I’m taking additional steps to respond–including establishing an initiative at the Department of Justice to address anti-Asian crimes. These attacks are wrong, un-American, and must stop.

Congress must eliminate the filibuster & enact common-sense gun reforms. Inaction on gun control is an abject moral failure.

GUN REFORM (1) Get weapons of war off streets. (2) Prohibit online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits & gun parts. (3) Address suicides by firearms—which account for 6 in 10 gun-related deaths. (4) Ban the manufacture & sale of assault weapons & high-capacity magazines.
