    If school board had really believed that superintendent's publicly disclosed health complaints were legit, wouldn't they have put him on leave until cleared by doctors? Is the board playing political games with super's health? Weird. Read for info.

    The public was outraged when the board tossed all the maps they spent $25K on and instead adopted Mary Anne Van Zuyle's map where she "coincidentally" drew herself into an open school board seat in 2020.

    I am trying to do video fact checks of each of Mark McLughlin's list of grievances against . Difficulty finding all of them. Wish he had provided agenda items and timestamps. I will post each video clip as I find it. All, please let me know if I miss anything.

    I stated why I voted no on the CSF fundraising re-authorization but did not report it in article. Full final text of authorization was not posted to public for comment 72 hours in advance. Still not provided now. Big thing for to miss.

    Not reported: These so-called "fights" between and go this way: 1) Sandee provides much-needed oversight of CVUSD 2) Betsy illegally shuts Sandee down and takes the floor 3) Sandee resists and asks Betsy to stop trying to silence her.

    Nothing good is going to happen in the left vs. everyone battle over schools until there is there is engagement and civil discourse. Kudos to trustees and for being the only trustees attending the private/public ed conf.

    Not sure that trashing the home school and Christian school communities is the right move, considering the crisis in declining enrollment.

    Coffee solves many problems.

    Cathy Svitek thanked the board for wanting what’s best for kids. She applauded Everett for standing strong under pressure. She urged trustees and community members to get to know each other over the summer to move forward. Then she asked Gorback to meet for coffee. He agreed.

    American hero.

    Arizona and the Navajo Nation have lost another patriot with the passing of William Tully Brown. We are forever grateful for his service as a Navajo Code Talker and will never forget the impact of his contributions.
