Smash community is supposed to be a safe place for all people, people shouldn’t be allowed to just do stuff like that, in addition people were just encouraging it “get over it it’s just a joke”

Almost got in a fight with someone drunk dudes because at SFC because they were throwing out and calling me homophobic slurs because they lost a no team attack money match, and no one else was saying anything about it

I definitely didn’t handle it correctly as far as letting my emotions get the better of me and getting angry but someone has to say something, it’s just a joke is not an excuse for homophobic or any hateful attitudes

“its just a joke” no it wasnt and they know it wasnt. even if it was that doesnt excuse any sort of hate. i think you handled it perfectly because that sort of behavior is not ok, its not welcome in this community, nor should it be welcome anywhere else.
