Well I’m in favor of pre order bonuses, it rewards dedication. I’m trusting enough to basically buy your game before it’s out it’s nice to be like “hey here’s this extra thing for you trust”

Why should u be dedicated to a company? If u preorder/give them ur money up front, they have less need to make the game better cuz they already have ur $ If no one preordered games I promise u we’d see so much more content in games to win fans over cuz they tryna make $$

I’m dedicated to them because I enjoy their games. I disagree with the statement that they would get less to make a good game because of preorders because I believe developers at least care about the game and not just about the money

People make games to make $$, thru and thru, and even if the game is good, no pre orders will force them to add EVEN MORE! Why wouldn’t u want to have even more in an already good game! These devs and publishers don’t know u and they don’t care, all you are is a number and a $

Hard disagree on that

If a dev doesn’t know if people will buy their game they will work harder to do even more to win people over. If they already know they’re making bank 3 months before release why keep working hard on it?? It’s basic psychology people do things for a goal, when it’s met they stop

If people just cared about money they would release it and drop the whole thing. Black ops 3 has been getting updates and content for 3 years, to me that shows they care about their community

B/c they have supply drops and microtransactions that make them boatloads of $!! These things also require very little work so they don’t even need a big team to make huge $$. They don’t “just drop it” b/c u make even more $$ on post launch microtransations not cuz they care LOL
