Who said it was? I’m saying that if u decide to actually use a beta to get the best testing possible, it should be an open beta. it DEFINITELY shouldn’t be a pre-order bonus. It was actually COMPLETELY FREE for pc so there’s no excuse to make it preorder only for either console

I understand where you are coming from I just don’t agree

What premise do u not agree with? Do u think pre-order bonuses that can easily be given to all players r ok? Do u think betas should only be for people already buying the game (kinda goes against half the point of a beta doesn’t it? Advertising)? What exact point do u not agree

Well I’m in favor of pre order bonuses, it rewards dedication. I’m trusting enough to basically buy your game before it’s out it’s nice to be like “hey here’s this extra thing for you trust”

Why should u be dedicated to a company? If u preorder/give them ur money up front, they have less need to make the game better cuz they already have ur $ If no one preordered games I promise u we’d see so much more content in games to win fans over cuz they tryna make $$

I’m dedicated to them because I enjoy their games. I disagree with the statement that they would get less to make a good game because of preorders because I believe developers at least care about the game and not just about the money

People make games to make $$, thru and thru, and even if the game is good, no pre orders will force them to add EVEN MORE! Why wouldn’t u want to have even more in an already good game! These devs and publishers don’t know u and they don’t care, all you are is a number and a $
