Off the top of my head: A nationwide school strike starting day after Labor Day. Put Congress on the spot to pass federal gun safety laws. Right before the midterm elections, force the issue. Teachers, states, school districts, parents, students collectively bringing the heat!

So why not build schools with better safety? Walls that aren’t made of paper, security doors, lockdown capabilities. Things like that... just a thought.

I whole heartedly agree. But what about the parents and their jobs? Somebody has to babysit all these kids not in school.

I think people should keep their kids home the day after a mass school shooting at all schools in protest. Also, skip active shooter drill days and protest out in front. They give a false sense of action.
