This is Ford soapbox propaganda at its best. The truth is these payouts are not handouts but severance provisions triggered by a business purchase and job losses, normal business practice. Why this makes headlines is because people are rallying against high salaries.

Agree. This is how acquisitions work. Disingenuous by the PC’s. Both parties have resorted to ridiculous lows in their messaging. Shaking my head and wondering who the heck I can possibly support in the abyss that is Ontario politics right now.
