Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor - Martyr got delayed to June, and the devs are working 90 hour weeks to apologize. https://www.pcgamesn.com/warhammer-40k-inquisitor-martyr/warhammer-40k-inquisitor-martyr-release-date …pic.twitter.com/JVcpLzk6x0

Just 'cause this tweet is still getting a lot of attention, we want to make clear Neocore were kidding about the 90+ hour weeks. The story was updated last night, as soon as they issued their clarification.

Yeah, stop the 90 hour work weeks and just delay it a bit longer. Nobody should be subjected to that. Also have the managers of these devs enforcing this work week never heard of the Law of Diminishing Returns? I guarantee nobody is doing top work after 8 hours a day.

I guarantee that after several 12 hour days, even the first 8 hours of the next day become less productive. It diminishes to zero hours after sustained crunch and you just end up spinning your wheels, going nowhere and just getting tired.

Also, are you requiring your developers to work 18-hour days for 5 days per week? Or 12-hour days for all 7 days per week? Just curious.

The people who made the mistakes figuring out the schedule aren’t working 90 hours, I bet. This is absurd.
