Post-Doc kids are rewriting parts of Melee History. In Mango's first dominant streak from 08-10, people hated him and despised the fact that he won. He wasn't well received until much later.
Glad you mentioned this because most people forget that only west coast liked mango during that time. I say it was only after Pound 4 when he started getting respect from the rest of the community but then scorp appeared. It's almost like an anime story lol

Big facts. East coast was in denial of mango being the best while he was cooking the entire East coast lmao. When he started playing falco the hate grew stronger. Like this lil kid can't be beating everyone with puff switch to falco and still win.
