I am not to educated on the battle royale genre but I have some questions. What makes Fortnite more attractive than PubG, or vice versa? What is eSports like for both titles? How long does it seem like these games will last?

Yeah I agree, which is why it's not surprising to me it has huge numbers in Twitch right now, super casual friendly, free & easy on the computer. I don't expect it to stay as high as it is in the long run tho. The PUBG mil sim realism & community win me over.
As long as Ninja keeps streaming Fornite will continue to have alot of views overral on Twitch.
