I don't think people understand how uneasy and unsafe most black people feel on a daily basis.

I get stopped sometimes in Japan, bags checked, questioned about where I got my bike. I was upset the first time. Then I felt embarrassed for being upset, thinking about how it's nothing compared to the difficult, painful, and often deadly world minorities live through back home.

It's literally nothing. They don't put a gun on me. It just reminds me of how bad it is in the States, that's all.
