      I mean it's more about the question of whether a system where we allow relatively few people to hoard most of the nation's generated wealth and then hope they donate it back when we desperately need it is a rational system.

      Anyone wants to donate money to help with this, great! But at the same time people can lament the fact that we have to depend on donations from the wealthy few to help us fight a pandemic rather than be able to fund the effort through our own government.
